This Privacy Notice for Clients Overflow LLC (“Clients Overflow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our websites and services (collectively, the “Services”), including when you: (i) visit https://dontloseclients.com or https://clientsoverflow.com (or any site that links to this Notice); and (ii) engage with us in other ways (e.g., purchases, support, emails/SMS, events). Sharing: With service providers, during business transfers, or for legal reasons. We do not sell personal information.

Security: We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.

Your rights: Depending on your location (EEA/UK/US states), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, port, object/restrict, and opt out of certain processing.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

a) Information you provide

Identifiers & contact (name, email, mailing address, phone—optional), account credentials, communication preferences; commercial & payment info (product selections, purchase history). Payments: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card data. See Stripe’s privacy notice: https://stripe.com/privacy. Support messages, survey responses, and other communications may also be collected. Please do not send us sensitive personal information.

b) Information collected automatically

Device and usage data (IP address, device/browser type, OS, language, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, timestamps), approximate location derived from IP, and data from cookies/pixels/SDKs.

c) Accounts on third-party platforms

To access some products, you may create or use accounts on third-party platforms we use (e.g., GoHighLevel membership portals). Those providers process your data under their own privacy terms in addition to ours.

2. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

Provide the Services (account set-up, deliver content, transactions, support).

Communicate (service notices, updates, transactional emails/SMS; marketing consistent with your preferences).

Improve & personalize (troubleshooting, analytics, product development).

Security & fraud prevention (detect, prevent, and respond to abuse).

Legal compliance (tax/accounting, enforce terms, protect rights).

With consent where required (e.g., certain cookies/analytics/marketing).

We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without notice and, where required, your consent.

3. LEGAL BASES (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases include: contract (provide Services), legitimate interests (security, improvement, limited direct marketing to existing customers), consent (where required for analytics/marketing cookies or emails/SMS), legal obligation (tax, accounting), and (rarely) vital interests. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 9).

4. SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We share personal information with:

Service providers/processors: hosting, payment processing (Stripe), communications and CRM/email/SMS (GoHighLevel), analytics/ads (see Section 5), and similar vendors under contracts requiring appropriate protections.

Business transfers: merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Legal/safety: to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information.

5. COOKIES & TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar tech to operate the Sites (e.g., sessions, security), remember preferences, and—with consent where required by law—for analytics and advertising. We currently use:

Google Analytics (incl. Advertising Features such as Demographics/Interests and Remarketing); opt-outs: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, Ads Settings, and device-level ad settings.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel for ads measurement/remarketing; ad preferences can be managed in your Meta account settings.

You can manage cookies via your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect functionality. We do not deploy a cookie banner at this time; if you are in a region requiring prior consent for non-essential cookies, we rely on your browser/ad settings and any explicit consents you provide to us (e.g., when subscribing).

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described (and to meet legal/tax requirements). For marketing, we retain data until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe, then we suppress further marketing. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data; if immediate deletion is not possible (e.g., backups), we securely store and isolate it until deletion is feasible.

7. SECURITY

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

EEA/UK/Switzerland

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (including to direct marketing), and data portability, and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise, email [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with your local DPA (or the UK ICO).

United States (state laws)

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising/profiling/sale. We do not sell personal information. If we use targeted advertising cookies, you can opt out by adjusting your browser/ad settings and by contacting us. To exercise or appeal a decision, email [email protected] (subject: “Privacy Request” or “Privacy Appeal”). We will verify requests as required by law, which may include reasonable identity checks and documentation for authorized agents.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in the email or by contacting us. For SMS, reply STOP to opt out. Transactional/service communications will continue as needed.

10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

11. DO-NOT-TRACK

There is no current industry standard for DNT signals; we do not respond to DNT at this time.

12. CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

We may update this Notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes may be announced via the Sites or email. Please review periodically.
